Joanne H. Hughes, 84, of Clermont, Florida passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Mike Conley Hospice House.  Joanne was born on January 21, 1934 in Uniontown, OH, daughter of Glenn and Anna Hoover.  She was a longtime resident of Clermont, serving as the pre-school director for the First United Methodist Church of Clermont for many years.

Joanne is survived by her children; Glenda Hughes Johns of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Timothy John Hughes of Groveland, Florida and Page Hughes Harper of Groveland, Florida, sisters; Betty Bradshaw of North Canton, Ohio and Debra Ayers of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hughes in November of 2012.

Donations in Joanne's honor should be made to Mike Conley Hospice House. Floral donations should be sent directly to The First Methodist Church of Clermont.
