Joan E. Newton, 88, of Clermont, FL passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her home.  Joan was born on August 14, 1923 in London, England, the daughter of Sidney and Ivy Bues.  She was a resident of Clermont since April 1997 previously living in Orlando, FL.  Joan was a homemaker and a Christian.

Joan is survived by her son, Dr. Stephen E. Newton and wife, Jane of Clermont; grandchildren, John Parrish Newton and Megan Dionne Naile and great grandchildren, Ethan Andrew Naile, Evan Edward Naile and Ella Jane Naile.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Newton and grandson, Troy Newton.



A Celebration of Joan's life will be held at 2PM Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Willows Clubhouse.
