Joan May Christine Hall (nee Sanders)

December 16, 1933 - June 24, 2023

Joan May Christine Hall, born December 16, 1933, passed away peacefully at home in Clermont, Florida on June 24, 2023.

Joan graduated with honors from Roseberry All Girls Prep School before joining the Bank of England for professional secretary training in the International Finance Department in 1949.

Joan later accepted a position at the British Embassy in Washington, DC in 1967.  A short time later she accepted a permanent position with the International Monetary Fund.  In 1984 she returned to England to arrange care for her parents and also worked for the President of the Island of Alderney, in the British Channel Islands, assisting in the daily operations of a small law firm.  Joan returned to the I.M.F. in 1984 while resigning in 1997 to retire to Clermont, Florida.

Joan also worked at Walt Disney World as a character escort for 11 years.  Joan enjoyed walks, cooking, travel, cross-words, English soccer and foreign languages, she spoke French, German, Italian and Greek.

Beloved wife and best friend of Bruce (spouse).  The couple had no children.
