Jimmy Leon Anderson, age 79, passed away Sunday, May 19th, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 24th at 11:00 at Mystical Winds Gathering Place, 9014 Florida Boys Ranch Rd, Clermont, FL 34711.

Mr. Jimmy Anderson was born in Flat Rock, Alabama on December 22nd, 1944 to the late Ruby and JD Anderson. Jimmy lived in Flat Rock until 1959 when he moved to Mascotte, Florida. He was self-employed for many years but mostly well known as the owner of Jimmy's Tree Service for more than 30 years.

Jimmy was happiest when surrounded by family. Jimmy was humble, hard working, and always eager to lend a helping hand. His generosity made a significant impact on many in the community. He enjoyed attending Bluegrass festivals, hunting, working with wood, and collecting tractors.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Patricia Wilbanks Anderson, three daughters, Karen Henderson (Brett), Melissa Sanchez (David), and Emily Battle (Chip), seven grandchildren, Brandi Garcia (Carlos), Jason Bridges, Paige Cook (Matt), Jackson Hendry, Austin Weber (Cody), Molly Hart (Jarrett), Bryson Sanchez, and six great-children.

Jimmy is also survived by four sisters, Shirley Padgett (Harwood), Linda Lyons (Don), Janice Padgett (Reggie), and Donna Cummings (Barry), and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jo Anne Lewis and Lisa Anderson along with his brother, Johnny Anderson.
