Jerry Antonio Miccinelli, 85, Clermont, FL passed away August 6, 2011 at South Lake Hospital. He was born February 13, 1926 in Paterson, NJ, son of Antonio & Angela Maria Pucci Miccinilli. He served the US Army and was a retired plumbing & heating contractor. On February 2, 1981 he was united in marriage to Marie B. Giordano in Punta Gorda, FL and had been a Clermont resident since 2000. Jerry will be remembered for his curious mind, generosity and his love for nature and was a world class fly fisherman who traveled the world while pursuing his passion for life. Surviving is his wife Marie; daughter Vanessa O'Connor, San Leandro, CA; step-daughters; Lisa Seim, Somers, NY, Robin Queen, Bedford, NY; step-son Jeffrey Anesi, Croton, NY; 5 step-grandchildren; sisters Ann Esposito, Saddle River, NJ; Caroline Salafia, Upper Saddle River, NJ & Victoria Gudger, Toms River, NJ; first cousin Paolino Miccinilli, Mahwah, NJ, nieces & nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services. The family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Moffitt Cancer Centers, Humane Society of the United States or Cornerstone Hospice.
