Jeanette Mae Travers, 63, of Clermont, FL passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Jan was born on August 22, 1954 in Orlando, FL, daughter of the late James and Ruth Richardson. She grew up in Pine Hills, graduated from Evans High
School and became a beautician.
Jan loved music, her soap operas and chocolate. She was a bird watcher and knew a lot about them (wild birds would actually come sit on her head or her hand). She loved all animals and did some volunteer work with pet rescue organizations. Jan would read anything she could get her hands on and treasured her book collection. She also would collect recipes, though she was never known to cook.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Sheree Brown; brother, James P. Richardson, III and his wife Dona; niece, Tina Richardson; nephew, Clay Richardson; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her god-sister, Mindy Maguire and housemate and friend, Dan Schmitt.
