Jean V. Mirabile, 98, Clermont, passed away August 14, 2013 at home with family at her side and under the care of hospice. She was born July 25, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of Maria Augello & Angelo Scialpi. She retired as Senior Administrative Aide for the City of New York and was former member of District Council #37 Union. A local resident since 1995, she was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and former member B.E.L.L.' Club. She enjoyed crocheting & sewing. Her husband Charles Mirabile preceded her in death in 1991 as did three siblings. Surviving are her children Judy Mastroianni & Mary Mirabile both of Clermont; James (Lorraine) Mirabile, Minneola & Michael (Angela) Mirabile, Brooklyn; seven grandchildren & six great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection for Jean Mirable will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name to Cornerstone Hospice.
