Jean Ann (Kroner) Hallenbeck passed away Sunday evening, March 8, 2020.  Jean was born in Wisconsin in 1943 to the late Raymond and Carmen (McCormick) Kroner.  She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.  In June of 1964, Jean married James Hallenbeck from Tully, New York and the two settled in Appleton, Wisconsin where she and James raised their two children John (wife Jennifer and their daughter Hannah) and Carmen (husband Larry and their children Ashley and Grant).

Jean dedicated her professional life to teaching, carrying on the legacy of her mother. She was employed in various schools teaching in elementary level classrooms for over 30 years. Jean enjoyed crafting in general but one of her favorites was scrapbooking.  She was very active with Red Hatters and various Genealogy organizations.
