IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean Eunice
Hall
July 1, 1934 – October 19, 2018
Our Lovely Jean
Jean Eunice Hall was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 1, 1934 to Kenneth & Nora Malcolm. She married Cadman Hall on November 25, 1953. They enjoyed 31 happy years of marriage before he passed away. Jean and Cadman had three daughters – Jennifer, Sandra, and Nicola.
Jean and her family moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1963. While in New York, Jean worked for Seaboard World Airlines. She also worked for IBM in New Jersey and Florida. After retiring from IBM, she worked for her brother's company – Malcolm & Sons Trucking.
Jean started studying with Jehovah's Witnesses in 1968 in Queens, NY along with her daughters. She was baptized on May 23, 1971. She and her daughters enjoyed their time in the Springfield Gardens congregation where they made many lifelong friends.
Jean called many places home – Kingston, Queens, Burlington, Orlando, and most recently Clermont. She loved spending time with her family on summer vacations and during winter visits. Anyone who knew Jean knows that she had a sharp mind and enjoyed putting it to the test during Jeopardy, Scrabble, and Sudoku. She also loved traveling to different countries. Family and friends would call her for her encouraging words of advice. She was honest and her candor made many laugh. She was true to herself and she will be dearly missed.
While this is a difficult time for all of us, it's comforting to know that we will have the hope of seeing her again in Paradise, where she will be in great health and free from pain.
Jean Leaves Behind: Two brothers - Clive (Russell) Malcolm, Joseph Malcolm, and one sister Rita Clarke (deceased); three daughters – Jennifer Austin, Sandra Moore, and Nicola Scott, and their husbands, also stepdaughter Melissa Service; four grandchildren Tiffany Moore, Jasmine Smith, Simone Webb, and Kelsey Austin and three step-grandchildren Aisha Phillips, Nikki Darling, and Kira Scott; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
