IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean Paul
Charron
October 16, 1923 – April 8, 2024
Jean Paul (JP) Charron, was 100 years old
October 16, 1923 – April 8, 2024
He was born in Holyoke, Mass.
He enlisted in the US Navy in March 1943 and was a signalman during WWII.
He lived in Miami, Fl. where he met and married Mary Rosalie Gravely (they were married over 60 years). All 9 children were born and raised there. And then they moved to Groveland, Florida in 1980.
He retired from Life Insurance Business and was the family Barber.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 40+ years, in Clermont, Fl
Jean was always happy and had a joke or funny story to tell anyone he met...NOBODY was a stranger. He enjoyed traveling abroad and around the country in their motorhome. He also loved his John Deere tractor, taking care of and entertaining on his lakefront properties, cheering for his sport teams, the Miami Dolphins and the Boston Red Socks, also playing cards and cribbage with family. He loved and always had time for his neighbors, young and old.
He had the Honor of serving as Grand Marshall of the Groveland Veterans parade and was in the Eustis 122nd annual "Georgefest" parade. Just February of this year.
He loved and was survived by his 9 children, 14 grandchildren and 8 eight great grandchildren.
