Jasmatie Budhai was born on May 31, 1949 in Guyana, South America. She took her last breath on April 8, 2019 at her home in Clermont, Florida at age 69.

She was united in marriage to Balram Budhai since 1964.

She was preceded in death by her daughters Rekha and Hema. Survived by her husband, 4 children: Monica, Anna, Padmini, and Chano, as well as her 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

After moving from Guyana in 1987, she lived 16 years in New York before she moved to Clermont, FL in 2003. She was always known a dedicated wife and mother, who believed in opening her home and heart to her family and friends.

Those who knew her well referred to her lovingly as Jasmine or Grandma Radica. Jasmatie was loved and
respected by all in her community.
