Janice Annetta Fitch was born in Baltimore MD on March 27, 1950, to her parents Richard William Fitch Sr. and Elizabeth Annetta Roesler. Jan has three brothers, Richard William Fitch Jr., Anthony Lingard Fitch, and Mike Fitch; along with nieces and nephews George, Jeff, Sonia, Tony (loving called Toenail by Jan), Michael, Dexter, Casey, and many great and great great nieces and nephews.

Jan passed away on January 25, 2025, in Clermont, FL.  She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Anthony.

In her 20's, Jan moved to Florida and started working for Frito Lay on the assembly line. After 10 years of working there she left and started her next job painting houses, something she really enjoyed doing. Following the house painting Jan worked for a time at the McDonalds in Downtown Disney. After leaving McDonalds Jan started her own lawn care business that she ran for many years. This business kept her in the great outdoors,  a place she dearly loved to be.

Survived by Jan is her longtime friend and companion of 34 years Shannon Boynton. Together they had many adventures doing the things they loved like camping, going to the beach, spending time at Disney parks, and hanging out with family and friends.

Jan brought warmth, joy, and sunshine, wherever she went.  She had a passion for her Lord and Savior Jesus, and loved all animals, especially her kitties. She was funny and sassy all rolled into one. Her passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved her. She will remain in our hearts forever!

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Jan on Saturday, February 15th at 11:00 at the family lake house.

This will be an outdoor celebration in a very casual environment. Please dress casual and comfortable.
