Janette was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents, George and Sophie Salloum with her loving siblings, Josephine, Evelynn, Madeline, Frances and Alfred.  She moved to Florida and finished high school in St. Petersburg, where she met her husband Jack at the Coliseum roller skating.

After relocating her family to Lake Wales, Fl, Janette worked as an engineering secretary at Donald Duck (now Florida Natural) until retirement.  In retirement Janette and Jack moved to Clermont, Fl.

Janette loved traveling with her husband, shopping and playing games with her grandkids. She was very active at Blessed Sacrament Church women's club and worked every year at their annual garage sale to fund charities in the church. Janette was well known for her quick wit and feisty personality, and was well loved by all who knew her.

Janette is a beloved mother to Dale (Nancy), Darryl (Chris), Debbie McGill (Mike) and Jackie Clifton (Bill). Janette was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
