Janet Lea Russamano, 62, lost her courageous battle on Monday, July 20, 2020, following a difficult illness. Janet was born to Campbell and Laura Johnstone on April 22, 1958, in Summit, New Jersey, the third of five children. She graduated from Cranford High School in 1976, her Associates degree from Union College, and was a dermatology Biopsy Coordinator for the past 20 years. Following her husband's retirement from the Cranford Fire Department in 2015, the couple moved to Florida to be closer to family and resided in Clermont.

Janet was beloved by all who knew her. She had a kind and generous heart and a radiant smile. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dean Russamano, her son Dean and his girlfriend, Hannah; son Christopher and his wife Corinne; son Kyle and his fiancée Sarah; her granddaughter, Emersyn Lea, three sisters and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont on Friday, July 24, at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
