Obituary

Heimburg, Mary Jane (Jane), 95, of Montverde, left this world for home with her Lord Jesus Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born March 23, 1920, in Dayton, NY, to Blaine D and Florence Eyler Hall. After graduating from Houghton College in NY, she was married for 58 years to Chester W. (Chet) Heimburg, who died in 1999. In 1953, they moved to Orlando, where she was an elementary schoolteacher and guidance counselor in Orange and Osceola Counties for 29 years. Upon retirement, she and Chet travelled to every US state and Canadian province, as well as to several other countries. She was a Christian who lived her faith as an example to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to fill her days and nights with reading, and enjoyed reciting poetry to anyone who had time to listen. Other pleasures included music, sewing, crochet, and community theater. She lived in her own home, with loving caregivers, up to her death. She is survived by her three sons: Charles Heimburg, of Fairfax Station, VA, John Heimburg, of Umatilla, FL, and David Heimburg, of Courtenay, BC, Canada. She had nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Carol Montaldi, of New Port Richey, and a foster sister, Nancy Cook, of Winter Park, FL, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
