James Sterling Winterringer III, 67, of Clermont, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 26th, 2013. He was born in Miami on December 29, 1945. At 13, Jim moved with his family to Delaware where he graduated high school and received his bachelor' degree in engineering from the University of Delaware. He married Josephine Mc Cloud and moved to Ft. Worth, TX to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a gifted minister of music and youth, serving in Texas, Maryland, and Virginia. He remarried on December 28, 1991 to Cheri M. Web. He was also a successful manager for Thousand Trails and sales representative for other time-share companies. Jim and Cheri relocated from Newport News, VA to Clermont in 1997. Jim loved Jesus and served the Lord in all he did. He had many talents including music, carpentry, gardening, computers, and conversation. He is preceded in heaven by his father, James Winterringer Jr. and brother, Dan Winterringer; survived by: wife, Cheri Winterringer; daughters Katherine Strohm and Christine Robinson; step-children Kim Webb, Andrea Griffith, and Kieth Webb; mother Mary Winterringer; sister Sandie Hammer; brother Jeff Winterringer; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
