Obituary
James R. "Jim" Tyre went to rest in the arms of Jesus on November 4, 2015 at Health Central Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Winter Garden, FL. He had written, "I would like to leave a legacy of being like Jesus and known as a man who kept his word." Born November 7, 1929 in Surrency, GA. Preceded by his father, Benjamin L. Tyre and mother, Agnes Thornton Tyre. Being one of twelve children. He joined the USAF and was honorably discharged in 1958. Worked at Lockheed Martin, Orlando, FL for 27 years. Opened "James R. Tyre Realty" in Clermont, FL April 1990. Ordained as an Outreach Minister 1988 with Life Ministries. Ministered to residents for seven years at Health Central Park. He leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Lou Tyre; two children, James T. Tyre and Carmela Pignatera; two step children, Allan and Glenn Arthur; one grandchild, Elizabeth Arthur. His legacy has truly been accomplished.

Memorial services for Mr. Tyre will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Gateway Church, 15550 CR 565A, Clermont, FL with Pastor Chris Duvall officiating. Inurnment with Air Force honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
