James(Jimmy)Phillips, 62, died Wednesday, April 24, 2014, peaceful at his home. He was a kind and loving husband and grandfather. He worked 35 years as a skilled carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Linda Phillips of Clermont; brothers, Claudie Randolf Phillips of Winfield, Alabama and Donald Phillips of Maryland. Preceded by sister Linda Phillips of Maryland. To friends and family that knew Jimmy a memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, FL. Linda and Jim enjoyed their road trip adventures camping and seeing the sites. Jimmy was a step-father to Brenda Block and Holly Ryan. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Madison Ryan, 17; Marlee Ryan, 11; and Jake Martin, 9 1/2.
