James Stroud Painter, Jr. of Orlando, FL passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. He was born January 4, 1949 in Atlanta, GA, and was 65 years young. We've lost a wonderful man, a dedicated grandfather, father, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, brother, son, and friend to many. Jim's smile was absolutely infectious, and will be remembered by so many. He was a true original; there was no blueprint on a man like him. His time with us was marked by a long list of accomplishments. Among them include his service to our country in the Vietnam War-where he received a purple heart, a degree from Auburn University, a distinguished track record of success in business, and the pride he took in being a wonderful family man. He was a man that cared deeply for the Lord, his country, his family, and his friends. He was loyal, honest, trustworthy, and a self-proclaimed ladies' man, who will be forever missed. Heaven gained a new angel on Saturday. War Eagle!
