James "Jim" Orlowski passed away with his family by his side on August 13, 2021.
Jim will always be remembered as a good and honest man who worked hard to provide for his family.
He had a successful career spanning 42 years as an Allergy and Immunology physician. At the beginning, he owned his own practice before moving on to join larger medical groups. He retired from his career as the chief of his department, an achievement he took great pride in.
He loved medicine and he especially loved helping others. He also loved computers and programming and often volunteered his time helping his medical center's technology group.
Jim had many interests and hobbies including following new technology trends, playing computer games with his sons, and amassing large movie and book collections for his family. His true love, however, was music as evident by his sizable CD collection and the many live concerts he attended.
Jim also loved to go on road trips. Over the years he took his family on numerous trips through the western states visiting mostly national parks and large cities. When his children left the house, he continued his road trip adventures with his wife, exploring the Midwest and New England areas.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, his children, Patricia, Christine, Richard and Stephen and his grandchildren, Maxwell and Oliver. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and we will miss him terribly.
A Mass of Celebration will be held at 11am EDT (8am PDT) on Wednesday August 25th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with internment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont. The church service will be live streamed so our out of state family and friends will be able to join us in celebrating Jim's life. The service can be found at:
