James D. Morrison, 79, Clermont, passed away January 26, 2013 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. He was born August 2, 1933 in Ripley, MS son of Artie Davis & Marion Morrison. He served in the US Army & retired from GE where he was a foreman manufacturing refrigerators. He was a 30 year central Florida resident from Westchester, IL and member of Open Door Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Jane; son Marty (Maria) Morrison, Clermont; grandchildren Christina & Matthew & siblings Lucille (Travis) Stokes & Wayne (Cathy) Morrison all of Booneville, MS; Sam (Sandra) Morrison, Griffin, GA & Mary (Harold) Hall, Rienzi, MS.



The funeral service for James Morrison will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January, 29, 2013 at Open Door Baptist Church. Pastor Bruce Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the funeral home & for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
