James V. Mirabile, 70, Minneola, passed away March 28, 2015 at home with family at his side and under the care of hospice.
He was born September 20, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, son of Jean and Charles Mirabile. He served in the U.S Army in the early 1960s; had been a longtime employee of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; and had been a local resident since 1999. His passions were the N.Y. Yankees, Doo-Wop music, and a good cigar. He was also a beloved pet owner of dogs Maggie, Sammy and Lilly.
Surviving are his wife Lorraine Mirabile, his children Lisa Mirabile, Gina Nasta, Lucas Mirabile and David Mirabile; and three granddaughters, Victoria, Danielle and Isabella, and grandson Brandon.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Family Christian Center. A visitation will be held for two hours prior to service. Continuing services and burial will be in New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery-Arneytown in New Egypt, NJ. Family Christian Center
