James Rodney Lee, age 86, of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025. Born on November 19, 1938, in Clermont, James lived a full and spirited life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

A devoted member of his church, James's faith was a guiding light throughout his life. He also had a lifelong passion for stock car racing, whether cheering from the stands or turning wrenches in the garage. His love for the open road led him to a long and fulfilling career as a truck driver, where he found joy in the journey and pride in his work.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Joy, and their loyal dog, Lady. He leaves behind three sons: Jimmy (Gail), Jesse (Princess), and AD (Kishie); one sister, Donna Jane; seventeen cherished grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

James will be remembered for his strong spirit, his deep love for family, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, 11am at Bay Lake Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends starting at 10am.  Interment will follow at Empire Cemetery.
