James J. Hill, 85, of Clermont, FL passed away at home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  James was born on April 29, 1937 in Hammond, IN, son of Churchill and Norah Hill.  James and his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia, were longtime residents of South Lake County, previously living in the Clearwater, FL area.  He worked and retired from the beverage industry, was an avid salt and freshwater fisherman and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont.

James is survived by his wife, Virginia; sister, Betty Schaefer of Fishers, IN; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
