James Edward Coleman, Sr., 85, Clermont, passed away May 13, 2012 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. He was born October 22, 1926 in Mechlinburg, VA son of Edward Coleman & Rozell Wright Coleman. He served in the US Navy & the US Marine Corp. On October 24, 1948 he was united in marriage to Lillian Harriet Scott in Philadelphia and retired from South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority where he was a bus operator. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Germantown, PA. He was a central Florida resident since 2002 and attended Celebration of Praise. His son James Edward Coleman, Jr. & brother Royal Coleman preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Lillian Harriet Coleman; children Dwight Bradford (Jacklyn) Coleman, Bear, DE; Keith Wayne (Joyce) Coleman, Columbus, NJ; Marta (Terrance) Rosario, Middletown, DE & Mark (Marlon) Coleman, Summerset, NJ; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren & brother William Amos (Virginia) Coleman, Philadelphia, PA..
