Mr. James Carberry, age 69, died in Clermont, FL on Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 from complications due to pancreatic cancer. Jim was born June 30, 1944, in Ridgewood, NY to Alice and James. After a three year enlistment in the United States Army, he worked at AT&T until his retirement in 1998. Jim lived in New York and New Jersey before settling in Florida. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Linda, daughters Kristin and Kim, mother Alice, brother Robert, and granddaughters Jessica, Madison and Jillian. Jim was preceded in death by his father James, his sister Gladys and his brother Thomas. Jim will be greatly missed. The family of Jim wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Florida Hospital Orlando and Mike Conley Hospice. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to the American Cancer Society.



A visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Becker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Becker Funeral Home, Clermont, Florida
