James Oliver Campbell was born March 25, 1953 in Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies to Verna Hill & Arthur Campbell. James affectionately called "Uncle Capo" was the first of seven children.
James completed Manchester Elementary School and went on to Welding. He moved to Kingston where he worked at Moore's Printing Press as a printer. Upon his arrival in New York he worked as a taxi driver and also as a security guard until his illness forced him to stop.
In 1983 James married Marjorie Johnson lovingly known as "Madge". This union produced two sons. James was a devoted family man who was noted for his lovely smile and his willingness to help people of all ages. James knew the Lord. He made profession of Faith and was baptized.
After a long illness, James peacefully entered into the presence of the lord on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
He leaves to mourn; his loving wife Madge; two sons, Carlton & Kenroy; two daughters-in-law; 5 grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Good night my love and our dad. We love you dearly, but God loves you best. Done-in-Sorrow.
