James (Jim) Herbert Beane, 81, of Clermont, FL passed away peacefully at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL on August 4, 2022.  Jim was born in Croswell, MI on October 3, 1940, son of Glenn and Dorothy (nee Taunt) Beane.

Jim was an Eastern airline pilot for most of his adult life.  After retiring as Captain, he began his second career as an English Professor at Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL.  Following this adventure, Jim began his third career as office manager at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont, FL where he was instrumental in spearheading the building of the new church.

Jim loved golf, football (especially the University of Michigan), boating, cruising and cooking.

Jim is survived by his wife of 41 years Nancy, adopted son Bobby Eveland, sister Carol (Harvey) Kuiper, 5 nephews, 3 nieces, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
