James Arnold Reiser, 82, Leesburg, passed away May 6, 2013 at home. He was born January 17, 1931 in Narrowsburg, NY son of Gladys Mae Murh & Charles William Reiser. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict & was united in marriage to Joan Brewster on August 29, 1954 in Pond Eddy, NY. He was a retired school teacher for the Sussex, NJ public school system and a local resident since 1993 from Vernon, NJ. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Elks, American Legion & Retired School Teachers Association. His granddaughter Jessica Perez preceded him in death as did three siblings. Surviving is his wife Joan; children Joan Crosby & husband Dan, Rochester, NY; Mary Pereira & husband Steven, Sunrise, FL & James William Reiser & wife Kim, Weston, FL; grandchildren Tara & Glenn Lamoureux & Tori & Avery Reiser & five siblings.



Mass of the Resurrection for Jim Reiser will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
