James W. Ambrose, 70, of Clermont, FL passed away Saturday, March 31st at the Mike Conley Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. James was born on June 1, 1941 in Cleveland, OH, son of James L. and Rita (nee Schmiedel) Ambrose. He worked as a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service for 35 years before retiring and was a resident of Clermont since 1996. James was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont.
James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sue; children, Jim of Naples, FL, Tina Weber of Apopka, FL and Stacey Rainey of Huntersville, NC; siblings, Mick Ambrose of AZ, Tom Ambrose of OH, Jack Ambrose of AZ, Mary Roland of OH and grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, Joshua, Jimmy, Jr., Martin, Jr. and Tyler.
A Celebration of the life James lived will be held at 4PM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Becker Funeral Home.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in James name to the Mike Conley Hospice House, Clermont, FL.
