En Memoria de Isabel Torres Santiago

Con profundo dolor, pero también con inmensa gratitud por la vida que compartió con nosotros, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Isabel Torres Santiago, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 30 de mayo de 2026, en la ciudad de Clermont, Florida, a la edad de 66 años.

Isabel nació el 26 de noviembre de 1959 en Corozal, Puerto Rico, tierra que siempre llevó en su corazón. A lo largo de su vida construyó un legado de amor, fortaleza y dedicación que permanecerá vivo en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Profesionalmente, se desempeñó como secretaria para la Corte de Paterson, Nueva Jersey, donde fue apreciada por su compromiso y responsabilidad. Sin embargo, más allá de cualquier título profesional, Isabel encontró su verdadera vocación en ser esposa, madre y abuela. Su familia fue siempre el centro de su vida y la razón de sus mayores alegrías.

Isabel disfrutaba de las cosas sencillas y hermosas de la vida. Le encantaba sembrar y cuidar sus plantas, viajar y descubrir nuevas culturas, compartir con amigos y familiares, y disfrutar de cada oportunidad para celebrar la vida. Quienes la conocían saben que, si estuviera hoy viviendo en Puerto Rico, seguramente habría estado de “chinchoreo” cada fin de semana, disfrutando de cada rincón de la isla con la misma pasión con la que disfrutaba todo lo que hacía.

Su espíritu aventurero la llevó a conocer numerosos destinos alrededor del mundo, incluyendo Argentina, gran parte del Caribe, diversos estados de los Estados Unidos, Francia, Grecia, Inglaterra, Italia, México, Turquía, Perú, y Venezuela. Cada viaje era para ella una oportunidad de aprender, compartir y crear recuerdos inolvidables junto a sus seres queridos.

La fe ocupó un lugar central en su vida. Isabel era una mujer profundamente creyente que entendía la espiritualidad como una relación personal y directa con Dios. Más allá de las iglesias o altares, encontraba la presencia divina en su vida diaria y la transmitía a quienes la rodeaban. Su fe fue una fuente constante de fortaleza, esperanza y amor para toda su familia.

Por encima de todo, Isabel vivió para su familia. Amó con intensidad, protegió con valentía y entregó todo de sí. Isabel poseía el inconfundible carácter de los Torres: fuerte, determinada y directa. Quien la conoció seguramente recuerda alguna de sus famosas expresiones o regaños cargados de cariño y seguramente Más de uno recibió uno de sus gritos “puñeta” , pero detrás de esa firmeza habitaba un corazón inmenso, generoso y dispuesto a ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesitara. Su amor era incondicional, su lealtad inquebrantable y su presencia imposible de reemplazar.

Isabel deja un legado de amor en su esposo Carlos; su hijo Pedro; su nuera Ann Marie; y sus adorados nietos, Rafael y Michael, quienes fueron una de las mayores alegrías de su vida. También deja numerosos familiares, amistades y seres queridos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y recibir su cariño.

Detalles de los servicios fúnebres: La familia invita a familiares y amigos a acompañarlos en los servicios de despedida que se celebrara el sábado 6 de junio de 2026 en la casa funeraria Becker en la ciudad de Clermont Florida.

En lugar de flores, la familia agradece que quienes así lo deseen realicen una donación a una organización benéfica o ministerio de su elección, en honor a la fe y generosidad que Isabel demostró durante toda su vida.

Con amor recordamos a nuestra amada Isabel. Su bondad, su sonrisa, su fortaleza y el cariño que sembró en nuestras vidas permanecerán para siempre en nuestros corazones. Aunque hoy lloramos su partida, celebramos una vida plenamente vivida, una vida dedicada al amor, a la fe y a la familia.

In Memory of Isabel Torres Santiago

With profound sorrow, but also with immense gratitude for the life she shared with us, we announce the passing of our beloved Isabel Torres Santiago, who entered into the presence of the Lord on May 30, 2026, in Clermont, Florida, at the age of 66.

Isabel was born on November 26, 1959, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, a place she always carried close to her heart. Throughout her life, she built a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will continue to live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Professionally, Isabel served as a secretary for the Paterson Municipal Court in New Jersey, where she was respected and appreciated for her dedication and responsibility. Beyond any professional title, however, Isabel found her true calling as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was always the center of her life and the source of her greatest joys.

Isabel delighted in life's simple and beautiful pleasures. She loved planting and caring for her flowers and plants, traveling and discovering new cultures, spending time with family and friends, and embracing every opportunity to celebrate life. Those who knew her Know that if she were living in Puerto Rico today, she would surely be out "chinchorreando" every weekend—exploring the island's local spots, enjoying good food, good company, and every corner of the island with the same enthusiasm she brought to everything she did.

Her adventurous spirit led her to explore many destinations around the world, including Argentina, much of the Caribbean, numerous states throughout the United States, France, Greece, England, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, Peru, and Venezuela. Every journey was an opportunity for her to learn, share experiences, and create lasting memories with the people she loved.

Faith occupied a central place in Isabel's life. She was a deeply faithful woman who understood spirituality as a personal and direct relationship with God. Beyond churches or altars, she found God's presence in everyday life and shared that faith with those around her. Her faith was a constant source of strength, hope, and love for her entire family.

Above all else, Isabel lived for her family. She loved deeply, protected fiercely, and gave of herself wholeheartedly. Isabel possessed the unmistakable Torres spirit—strong, determined, and direct. Those who knew her undoubtedly remember some of her famous sayings or loving scoldings, and more than a few probably heard one of her signature exclamations of “¡Puñeta!” Yet behind that strong exterior was an enormous and generous heart, always ready to help anyone in need. Her love was unconditional, her loyalty unwavering, and her presence impossible to replace.

Isabel leaves behind a legacy of love in her devoted husband, Carlos; her son, Pedro; her daughter-in-law, Ann Marie; and her cherished grandsons, Rafael and Michael, who were

among the greatest joys of her life. She also leaves behind many relatives, friends, and loved ones who were blessed to know her and experience her kindness and love.

Funeral Services

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Isabel's life and honoring her memory at funeral services to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those who wish to honor Isabel's memory consider making a donation to a charitable organization or ministry of their choice, reflecting the faith and generosity she demonstrated throughout her life.

With love, we remember our beloved Isabel. Her kindness, her smile, her strength, and the love she planted in our lives will remain forever in our hearts. Though we mourn her passing today, we celebrate a life well lived—a life devoted to love, faith, and family.
