Irma V. Muraro, age 82, Groveland, passed away January 2, 2016. She was born July 5, 1933 in Pine Mountain, GA daughter of Hattie Hood & Rufus Thompson.  She was resident of Groveland Florida since 1957 after living in Germany for 2 years with her husband who was in the military. She worked for the Lake County School Board as a secretary and was a member of First Baptist Church of Groveland (57 yrs). Her husband Louis J. Muraro of 54 years preceded her in death as did her brother Clarence Thompson. Surviving are her Children Michael Muraro, Jim Muraro & Carolyne Parish & her Husband Forrest all of Groveland; Grandchildren Nathan Tillis & his Wife Danielle,  Gabriel Parish, Great-Grandson Bazil Tillis & great-Granddaughter Zev Tillis, and Sister Mary Ann Hodges of Plant City.

The funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Groveland. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to greet the family for one hour prior to the service.
