Irene Janet Harmon, 73, of Clermont, FL passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. Irene was born on June 7, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Azel and Sophia Green. She worked as a supervisor of payroll for Conrail railroad company, and after retirement she and her husband, Robert who passed away in 2005, joined the Kings Ridge community. She was very active in that community as well as being a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she involved in the Ladies Guild and served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Denise Stammis of Clermont, LoraLee Harmon of Lake Mary, FL and Cheryl (Bruce) Greenburg of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Joan Hamnick of Schererville, IN and Marjorie Jackson of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren Eric Ruisard, Kristin Sheldon and Brandon Greenburg and great grandchild, Madyson.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30AM Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Very Reverend Robert E. Webster celebrating.
