Mrs. Inez Wright Pratt, age 87, of Minneola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. She was born in Bowling Green, Florida to the late Virgil and Virdie (Murray) Brooks on March 29, 1931. She was the oldest girl in the family and was known as a "little mother" as she helped raise her younger brothers and sisters. Inez held many various jobs over the years, eventually becoming a switchboard operator from where she retired. She moved to the Clermont/Minneola area in 1995.

Inez is survived by her sisters; Minnie Willis of Miami, Florida and Betty Fitzgerald of Clermont, Florida. She is predeceased by her husband William Pratt, infant daughter Cynthia Ann Gardner, and five brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Paynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowling Green, Florida.
