On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Horace Coley Stewart, loving husband, father of two, grandfather of two, friend to many, passed away at the age of 51.

Horace was born on July 10, 1969 in Central Florida to Harlen and Monette. On December 5th he married the Love of his life Terri. Together they raised two wonderful children Michael and Alexis.

Horace was a beacon of light in the darkest times for anyone blessed enough to have met him. He was the epitome of generosity and honesty. Horace put God first and the needs of his family before his own. His strength and humor carried us through it all even until the very end. He was hard worker but fished harder. He loved to hunt, but he loved to talk and the two do not mix in a tree stand.

His courage led his life and his passion maintained it. This was demonstrated in his faith, marriage and kinships. Horace befriended strangers and would chat your ear off but the conversation was always meaningful. It was filled with laughter or lessons learned and anyone who knew better listened to him. Horace was his children's biggest fan and his grandchildren's biggest sucker.

Horace is preceded in his death by his mother, Monette and father, Harlen. He is survived by his wife, two children, grandchildren,  nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many many friends

He is indispensable. He is at peace.

A potluck luncheon will follow the memorial service on Thursday March 4, 2021. Please bring a covered dish.
