Homer Armer Marshall, 91, Clermont, passed away August 5, 2011 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. He was born May 15, 1920 in National City, CA son of Homer Knox Marshall & Isabel Cutler Marshall. He was a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant in the US Marine Corp having served in WWII, Korea & Vietnam. He was a local resident (Montverde) since 1970 from Mission Viejo, CA and a member of Woodlands Lutheran Church. After retirement he worked as a warehouse supervisor for Walt Disney World. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Shaw Marshall, son Wayne Marshall and sisters Barbara & Margaret. Surviving are his children Cathy Marshall, Montverde & Clark (Karen) Marshall, West End, NC & grandson Joshua Marshall.



The memorial service for Homer Marshall will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the graveside in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Reverend Dr. Brian N. Kneser, Woodlands Lutheran Church will officiate, followed by US Marine Corp honors. The family suggests memorial contributions to Woodlands Lutheran Church or Mike Conley Hospice House.
