Obituary
Herman Fredrick Yokers, Jr., 84, of Montverde, FL passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL. Herman was born on February 18, 1931 in Plover, WI, the son of Herman F. and Edith Yokers, Sr.. Herman had lived in South Lake County for the past 11 years, previously living in Mt. Dora, FL. He was an artist. Herman was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Clermont and had served in the U.S. Navy.
Herman is survived by his daughter, Karin Arellano and husband John of Montverde, FL; son, Kenneth Yokers and wife Debra of E. Dundee, IL and 3 grandchildren, Kaleb, Kelsey and Kenton.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Azalea "Rosie" Yokers and son Steven Yokers.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Herman's name to: South Lake Art League, 776 W. Montrose St., Clermont, FL 34711 or the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
