Helen Myrtle (Smith) Pollock, 84, died peacefully at her home in Clermont, FL on November 8, 2022.

Helen was born on August 29, 1938 in Theresa, New York to Gordon J and Marian E (Whitford) Smith.

Helen was raised on a dairy farm in upstate New York. She graduated from Theresa High School in 1956 and went on to Nursing School, with her Nursing residency being completed in New York City. She married Roger J Henry, Sr. in 1960. The couple and their 5 children moved to Clermont, FL in 1974. After her divorce, Helen married Samuel Pollock in 1979. Helen continued her nursing career in Florida, working at Lake County Health Department in Clermont and ending her nursing career as a Home Health Nurse. She retired from nursing in the year 2000.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Sam; sons Daniel (Nicole) Henry and David (Wendy) Henry and daughters, Debra (Stephen) Henry Nodd and Teresa (Jeffrey) Henry Boykin; daughter-in-law, Michelle (Pete) Henry Nielsen; stepchildren, Paul Pollock, Denise Pollock Stillwagon and Steven Pollock; and a brother, Rev. Earl Smith. Helen will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Caryn, Branden, Justen, and Cory Siple; Alanna Collins and Austin Senos; Nick and Hannah Pollock; Jason Dougherty, Jacob Henry, Jaclyn Thorell, and Jamie Henry; Joshua Henry, Courtney Thomas, and Benjamin Henry; Sara O'Neil, Shelby Leininger and Emily Boykin; Nathan, Paige, Mathias, Stephanie and Jaxon Pollock. Helen had 24 great-children and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Henry, Jr.

A Celebration of Helen's Life for family and close friends will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Ave in Clermont, FL at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
