Harry Lee Brickey

May 8, 1938 – September 22, 2020

Harry Brickey (82) passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on September 22, 2020 in Clermont, Florida.

Harry was born May 8, 1938 in Sullivan, Indiana to parents Robert and Elizabeth (Shake) Brickey. Harry moved his family to Orlando, Florida in 1960. Harry was a Tool & Die salesman for Moore Industrial Tooling for 15 years; then he worked for Disney World for 5 years, and finally worked for Mears Transportation Group for 20 years until he retired at age 74. In his free time, Harry enjoyed umpiring/refereeing sports and loved showing his 1976 Corvette at various car shows around the Central Florida area. He also loved gardening and mowing on his new tractor at his residence. He also played shuffle board with a group from Clermont.

He is predeceased in death by son, Michael Brickey, and wife, Nancy Brickey. He is survived by his daughters, Luann Newsome and Angela Andrade; his grandson, Chris Newsome; his granddaughters, Michelle Mincey, Amanda Andrade, and Jennifer Andrade; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Newsome, Abigail Owens, Colton Owens, Lillian Mincey, and Lane Evans.

In lieu of flowers: The family requests that you partake in one of Harry's favorite activities in his honor – hike on your favorite trail, toast him with 3 Oreos and a glass of milk, or take a scenic drive with your windows down to breathe in the fresh air.
