Harriet Walsh passed away on December 9, 2023 at South Lake Hospital.  She is survived by her loving husband Dennis of 44 years, her brothers Bill and Scott and a host of nieces and nephews.

Harriet was born on February 11, 1953 in Abington, Pennsylvania.  Harriet and Dennis moved to Florida from Langhorne, Pennsylvania in 2009 where they purchased a home in Summit Greens.  Harriet was a school teacher.  Upon receiving her Master's Degree, she began a career that spanned 37 years teaching mathematics.  Harriet had a love of nature and enjoyed many outdoor activities like the nature trails in Pennsylvania and the Sand Hill cranes in Florida.  She also pursued an interest in genealogy.  As a resident of Summit Greens, she would enjoy swimming with her group.  Harriet always delighted in attending and never missed a weekly gathering of close friends for dinner every Monday evening.

Harriet bravely fought the onset of Alzheimer's for over 5 years.

A service will be conducted on December 13th, 11:00 AM, at the Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Avenue, Clermont, Florida.
