Obituary

Harold Morton Knight, 90, Mascotte, passed away August 2, 2013 at home with his family at his bedside and under the care of hospice. He was born January 22, 1923 in Mascotte, son of Leah Margaret Boyd & Matthew Montgomery Knight. He attended Mascotte Elementary & Groveland High School and was drafted in to the US Army serving in WWII. He began working for B & W Packing Plant in 1958, retiring from there in 1988. On December 15, 1962 he was united in marriage to Rosana Queen Todd in Mascotte and was a lifetime member of Mascotte United Methodist Church. His siblings Samuel Boyd Knight (Thelma), Henry Berwin Knight (Charlotte) & Matthew LaVarne Knight (Margaret) preceded him death. Surviving is his wife Rosana Queen Knight; daughter Cheryl Ann Krusell & husband Richard Arthur Krusell of Mascotte; grandchildren Christopher Allen Krusell & Jamie Nichole Krusell & 3 great-grandchildren.



The funeral service for Mr. Knight will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in the Becker Chapel. Participants in the service will be Pastor Donna Manwaring, Mascotte United Methodist Church, Bill Bernoir & the US Army Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Empire Church Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service time. The family suggests memorial contributions to Mascotte United Methodist Church or Cornerstone Hospice. BECKER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 806 W.
