Harold Eatmon was born October 20 th , 1951, in Flint Michigan, the son of Harold and Glenda Mitchell Eatmon. Residing in Clermont, Florida for the past five years after living in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area for 30 years.

Married to his wife, Betty Zimmerman Eatmon on March 12, 1971, in Pekin, Illinois. They celebrated 50 years of marriage this past March 2021.

Harold was an ordained minister for more than 42 years but began his ministry in 1973 as a youth leader at his local church in Pekin, Illinois. Harold and Betty pastored four churches in Illinois, Texas, and Minnesota. His passion was reaching out and helping people find who they were in Christ. Traveling to more than 50 nations, Harold ministered to people by the Word of the Lord under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit with the purpose of never missing an opportunity to reach those God called him to minister to.  His travels took him to some of the deepest prisons in other countries just to find one man the Lord was sending him to or to platforms of more than 70,000 to carry the message of the Lord.  He was often the keynote speaker at international and national conferences.  He worked in the four areas of the Marketplace, Government, Education, and the Church.  The pages of his Bible are marked with messages and insights that he boldly professed to all.  His life verse was Luke 2:52 'And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men'.  Harold believed, if your relationship with God was first, your relationship with men would have favor.

The joy of his life was his family. Those surviving are his wife, Betty, and four children, Holly D Eide (Paul) Phoenix, AZ; Heidi L Gennaro (Arnold) Mesa, AZ; Heather R Zupetz (Joe) Buena Vista, CO; and Todd J Eatmon (Angela) Eden Prairie, MN. Nine grandchildren and three sisters, Rebecca Klapproth, Lufkin, TX; Peggy Loveless, Garland, TX; and Kathy Eatmon, Garland.

Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father and two sisters, Grace Schark, and Sue Lormis.

Harold loved life…too soon God's warrior, you still had more lives to reach.

Pallbearers – Todd Eatmon, Paul Eide, Dain Eide, AJ Gennaro, Tim Lively, Nathan Spence.

Harold's dedication to ministry has come to a close; this unexpected event and Harold's 18 days in the hospital will significantly impact Betty as his ministry was their sole source of income.  In lieu of flowers, if you feel led and would like to honor the life and ministry of Harold Eatmon Ministries Int'l, please consider a donation to https://hemi.org/partner/
