Harold Wayne Amstutz, 82, Minneola. passed away March 1, 2012 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. He was born June 10, 1929 in Berne, IN son of Jesse Amstutz & Katherine Zimmerman Amstutz. He served in the US Marines prior to retiring as a Missionary Pilot. On June 14, 1953 he was united in marriage to Elsie Young in Portsmith, VA. He was a local resident since December 2011 from Clearwater and  a member of St. Pual United Methodist Church in Largo. His son David Lee Amstutz preceded him in death as did two siblings. Surviving is his wife Elsie; children Deborah Lynn (Carl) Becker, West Africa; Daniel Scott (Lynda) Amstutz, Clearwater & Peggy Ruth (Mark Mitchell) Bourne, New Zealand; 9 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.



The memorial service for Harold Amstutz will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at African Island Mission Retirement Center, 1000 Media Road, Minneola, FL 34715.
