Guadalupe Rodrigo
Serna Olivo
September 30, 1960 – April 29, 2026
Guadalupe Rodrigo Serna Olivo, 65, of Mascotte, passed away on April 29, 2026. Born on September 30, 1960, in Mexico, Guadalupe made a meaningful life for himself and his family, ultimately settling in Mascotte, Florida. Guadalupe, careers in life found him in the citrus and then the construction industries. However, in the past 18 years he dedicated his career to the golf industry, contributing his skills and hard work as a Golf Course Maintenance professional. He was known for his commitment to excellence and his passion for the sport, traits that have left a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Guadalupe found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He enjoyed playing pool, spending time at cookouts, fishing, and sitting by a fire on a cold winter night. He had a deep appreciation for baseball, not for any one team but for the game itself. He also enjoyed old movies, especially westerns, and watching game shows.
Though he preferred the comfort of home, he cherished traveling with his wife. Together they made memories visiting the mountains of Tennessee, the beaches of Florida, and taking trips to see family in South Carolina and Kansas, as long as he could be behind the wheel.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Tammy Serna Olivo; his children and their families: Araceli Serna and her husband Vincente Joseluis Gomez, and their son Cristian Eliel Gomez; Guadalupe Rodrigo Serna, Jr. and his wife Valerie Renee Serna, and their children, David Lee Serna and Elysia Renee Serna; and Luis Manuel Serna and his wife Nilmas Ortiz Rodriguez, and their daughter, Briella Magdalena Serna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Serna Narvaez and Maria Cruz Olivo Torres, as well as his siblings Cresencio Serna Olivo, Alifonso Cerna Olivo, Emma Serna Olivo, and Juan Serna Olivo.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Becker Funeral Home on May 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather as they remember and celebrate the remarkable individual Guadalupe was. Guadalupe Rodrigo Serna Olivo will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
