Gregg A Dodge, 61, of Clermont, Florida, passed away suddenly on May 5th, 2026.

Gregg was born on December 1st, 1964 to Shirley and Robert Dodge Sr. in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Gregg graduated from Evans High School in 1982, after spending the previous three years at Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School, he went on to study Ophthalmic Dispensing at Hillsborough Community College.

After graduating with a degree in Opticianry, he started his first job at Eye Glass World as an Optician. He went on to work for the family business, Apex Optical, for many fruitful years after.

In addition to his work in opticianry, Gregg was a passionate small business owner, working as a pitmaster catering events and weddings with his best friend, Matt Koch, and occasionally, his eldest brother, Robert Jr. Beyond his career; he enjoyed cars, fishing trips, and his beloved dog, Daisy.

In recent years, Gregg began a new career at Ballistic Advantage and spent his time as a machinist.

Gregg was predeceased by his brother, Gary D Dodge. He is survived by his parents, Shirley W Dodge and Robert A Dodge Sr, his brother, Robert A Dodge Jr, his nephews Robert A Dodge III, Eric A Dodge and Grant D Dodge, and his great-nephews Trentyn M Dodge and Robert A Dodge lV.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at Tanner Hall, 29 W Garden Ave, Winter Garden, FL.
