Gordon Francis Heimann, Sr., 69, Minneola, passed away May 18, 2011 at Orlando VA Community Living Center. He was born October 30, 1941 in Elgin, IL son of Clemet Heimann & Marjorie Sutter Heimann. He was a proud US Navy veteran and worked as a precision tool grinder as well as other occupations. On May 25, 1963 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Jane Ferland in Philadelphia, PA. He was a local resident since April 2008 from Jacksonville, IL, of catholic faith and former VFW member. Surviving is his wife Elizabeth; children Gordon Francis (Leanne Morris) Heimann, Jr. & George Michael (Robin Lynn) Heimann all of Minneola; Thomas Keith (Denice) Heimann, Kingsland, GA & Patricia Rose (Bruce) McCrady, Milan, IL; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren & siblings Kenneth (Sandy) Heimann, Moline, IL; Paul Heimann, Minneola & Kayleen (Ron) Bergman, East Moline, IL.
