Gloria Annette Zilak, 82, of Clermont, Florida passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018.  Gloria was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of Frank and Theodora (nee Grenda) Pokrzywinski.  She was a retired nurse and had resided in Clermont for the past 12 years.  On a seasonal basis, Gloria worked at Universal Orlando with the Red Shirts throughout her 12 years.

Gloria loved socializing and was an active resident of Kings Ridge Community in which she participated in the Italian American Club, the New York Club, the Kings Ridge Players, social hours, movie nights, various clubhouse functions, a member of the Clermont's Woman's Club, the Philanthropic Educational Organization, volunteered at pet facilities and so much more.

Gloria is survived by her loving children, Scott Zilak of Clermont, Michelle Gerhart of Largo, Florida and Dawn Vlahos of Gotha, Florida; sisters Audrey Gableman of Greendale, Wisconsin and Diane Merkle of Grafton, Wisconsin; and grandchildren, Andrew, James, Charles, Caleb, Sondra and Alexis.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev. Ret. Dr. Hal Michelson on Saturday May 12, 2018, at the Kings Ridge Clubhouse East Wing (in the Nottingham and Canterbury Rooms) at 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.  Fellowship and refreshments to proceed after service until 4:00 p.m.
