Gloria Marie (Stoms) Walls, 69 died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in her Clermont, Florida home surrounded by loved ones. Gloria, the daughter of the late George B. and Gladys M. (Nielsen) Stoms was born on November 17, 1944 in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Her loving husband, Grover C. Walls, survives her. Gloria and Grover were married July 17, 1964 in Bound Brook, New Jersey. They were married for 50 wonderful years! Other survivors who will mourn her death include two daughters and a son: Victoria Walls Ortiz (Elvis), Gail Walls Kalmar (Tom), and Tony Stoms. Nine grandchildren will miss their grandmother: Daniel, Justin, Samantha, Jonathan, Julia, Tommy, Robbie, Jaime, and Michael. Two brothers and a sister survive her: George Stoms (Lou Ellen), Grant Stoms (Kathie), and Gay Stoms. Gloria has many Brother-in-Laws and Sister-in-Laws, which she loved dearly. She also has many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews that she loved with all her heart! Gloria and Grover lived in Bridgewater, New Jersey for 30 years before moving to Clermont, Florida in 2001. Gloria was a member of Bradley Gardens Reformed Church in Bridgewater. For 25 years, Gloria taught Sunday school at her church. She loved being and working with children. Gloria enjoyed life to its fullest! She loved to go for walks, bikes rides, camping, and cruises. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren! Every Super Bowl Sunday, she would have a Super Bowl Party at her home with family, who also lived in Clermont, Florida. Gloria was a wonderful, loving person - she will be dearly missed, but always in our hearts! She left us all beautiful memories that we all will cherish forever!



Funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Becker Funeral Home. Friends may visit also on Friday from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
