Gloria was born in Bonao, Dominican Republic on October 12, 1947.
She attended high school and college in Puerto Rico at Antillian Adventist University.
Gloria was a visionary.
One of her greatest passions was education. She believed that knowledge and learning were essential
elements to succeed in life.
She founded 2 schools in Bani, DR. Colegio Maria Trinidad Sanchez was established
in 1973 and colegio Matrisa was founded 15 years later. She dedicated 20 years of her life as teacher and administrator to both schools.
After moving to USA in 1991, Gloria continue contributing to the growth and development of the schools until
a few weeks before her passing.
Her generosity was legendary and went farther than her family could see.
Gloria enjoyed life to the fullest. Her jokes and laughter were contagious.
She was a woman of deep faith.
Gloria's pride and joy was her family and the times and memories spent with them. She leaves behind her husband
of 46 years Jose, her children Danette and Yosse, and grandchildren Kristen, Adriel and Yadelin.
She is also survived by her sisters Carmen, Esperanza, Noemi, Bienvenida, Menorca, Edelbis, and Melva, and brothers Misael, Benjamin and Aurelio and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Aurelio and Dorcas, and her brother Juan.
Family and friends are grieving that Gloria has gone to her rest. But They are reassured of the blessed hope of seeing her again when Jesus comes. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." 1 Thessalonians 4:16
In lieu of flowers, if anyone wants to donate with monetary funds or flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the Clermont Seventh Day Adventist church for Adventist education.
After her funeral and burial, everyone is invited to 1190 Summit Green Blvd, Clermont Florida.
