Gloria Shirley Cooperman, 86, Clermont, passed away April 13, 2013 at Health Central Park in Winter Garden. She was born March 20, 1927 in New London, CT daughter of Lillian Cohen & Wolfe Weinberg. On October 12, 1947 she was united in marriage to Abraham Copperman in New London. She was a homemaker & local resident since 1997 from Boca Raton. She was a member of Congregation Sinai & former member & recording secretary for the original Women's Club at Kings Ridge. Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Abraham Cooperman; sons Bruce Cooperman, Wilsonville, AL; Wayne Cooperman, San Antonio, TX & Alan Cooperman, Clermont; 3 grandchildren ; 2 great-grandchildren & sister Marlene Berman, Fort Meyers, FL. Her brother Leonard Weinberg preceded her in death.



The memorial service for Gloria Cooperman will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 19, 2013 in the Becker Chapel. Rabbi Joe Goldovitz will preside. Inurnment will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
